SEC champ has Never will Never be denied, it’s the only lock in college football

You want your team guaranteed in the playoffs? Win the dang SEC, that’s the only guarantee there is in college football. Whatever happens to the rest of the teams is really no concern to the SEC champ! They’re in! It would take a really really bad year for that guarantee to be revoked, but the SEC is so competitive compared to everyone else, they don’t have any bad years. Tenn might still be in or Ga, but that’s of no concern to the SEC champ who is locked in! Have a nice day!
Updated to clarify, the SEC is a lock ever since Saban began his dominance of college football. And that remains the case today! If Saban had just one loss today, other conference champs would be screwed.

Lsu is in if they win out.

It may be easier to find an obnoxious Tenn fan that respects Bama than it is finding anyone that believes LSU can beat Ga, that is irrelevant, only relevant matter is the SEC champ is a lock!

I don’t think this is true. Many fans are living in dreamland right now. Just because the SEC champ has always made it, doesn’t mean they always will. There has never been a 2-loss SEC champ during the 4-team playoff era.
We have NO IDEA what the committee will do.
We would need to beat Georgia soundly to get consideration. Close won’t be good enough. An objective observer would choose both Georgia and Tennessee over LSU, based on the full season, if LSU beats Georgia in a squeaker.
Let’s be realistic, our chance of beating Georgia is very small. They will be the best defense we will face all year by a wide margin. Our offense will look more like the Arkansas game than the Ole Miss game.
We need to just enjoy the ride we are on and let things play out.

I go back to the one undeniable fact, no SEC champ has ever been denied since Saban’s dominance of college football. I will admit, beating Ga sounds totally ridiculous, so does an LSU freshman Perkins being the most dominating player since Hershel Walker. Have a nice day.

We haven't had a 2-loss SEC Champ in the playoff era so we don't know. We do have 2-loss other conference champs that have been left out. So there is precedent.

LSU will get left out. Resume not good enough, as delightful as the year has been for them.
Lost to FSU
4 point win vs the worst Auburn team this decade
Blown out by UT
OT win vs Bama
Hung on for dear life against a bad Arkansas team
Only a 2 TD favorite against UAB, and will be less than that vs a terrible TAMU team.

Brian Kelly should hands down win SEC Coach of the Year, and be on the short list for National COY.

The SEC Champ has only had 2 losses once come selection Sunday since the advent of the BCS. The one time a 2 loss champ got in, the only reason it happened is because there was only 1 1-loss P5 conference champion at the end of the season, Ohio State. LSU having crushed their strongest competition, Va Tech, and UGA not winning their division is what got them the nod.
That wouldn't be the case this year. There will most likely be 1 or fewer loss champs from the Big 10, Pac 12, Big 12, and ACC even if LSU wins.
If TCU loses, UCLA/USC both lose, and LSU beats UGA, it will be a very unique situation for the committee, so using what's happened in the past will be largely irrelevant. No one knows what they'll do.
I think UGA is in regardless unless they lose to Kentucky or Tech. I think the winner of the Michigan/OSU game is in unless one loses in the Big 10 title game. I think USC is in unless they lose another game. They're still USC and will get love from the committee IMO. If TCU loses, that leaves one spot (assuming all these teams win out) for one of Tennessee, Clemson, or LSU. I have no idea what the committee would do in that situation. There are strong arguments for and against all three of those teams.
And fwiw, the SEC was denied in 2004 when an undefeated Auburn was left out.

Except if the SEC champ has 2 or more losses.

What are you talking about? Not only did the SEC Champ not make every BCSCG, but an undefeated SEC Champ was once left out (2004 Auburn).

Aub not getting in, has no baring on today. SEC has proven to be the greatest conference in college football, largely thanks to Saban. He helped create this beastly conference where the best coaches come to compete against him.

If LSU wins out, and Georgia only drops the one game to LSU, it's LSU and Georgia from the SEC in the playoff with Ohio St/Michigan winner and either undefeated TCU or 1-loss Pac-12 in the other spot

Ok, as true as that is, when Saban began making the SEC this monster of a conference, it was then that the SEC gained such massive respect over everyone else, making Miles play Alabama twice, denying everyone else.. That kind of respect is still there.

Suppose TCU and either OSU or Michigan go undefeated.
Also, suppose that USC wins the PAC with one loss and UNC or Clemson wins the ACC with one loss.
If two-loss LSU wins the SECCG, the committee is going to have to put them in over two undefeated and two one-loss conference champs.
If that happens, if we were already headed toward expanded playoffs, we'd be headed toward expanded playoffs.

lmao.
You got pummelled on your home turf by a bunch of 3stars.
40-13.
They don't let teams like that into the playoffs.
