Clearly they just wanted to get the two best fanbases together in the SECCG.

Congrats on winning the East. LSU and UGA is always a classy matchup. The two programs respect each other.

If I was a UGA fan, I’d have absolutely no concern about this game:

I have always had good interaction with LSU fans. People from Louisiana are usually good folks except for that 8 year old that cussed me out at the 2003 SEC championship game

I just want a good game, but history between us says otherwise.
LSU and UGA have played in the SEC championship 4 times with the closest game being UGA winning by 20 in 2005.

I was very impressed with the crowd y'all brought to Baton Rouge in 2018. I've never seen so much of our home covered with the colors of the enemy! Y'all brought it all, and were loud as hell the entire game. Tailgating and hanging out with your fans has always been fun, whether in Baton Rouge, Athens, or Atlanta.
Here's to a great game! May the winner proceed to collect that CFP trophy in January! I was predicting a repeat for y'all back in August. I hope we can make a good game of it in a few weeks.

Even if they were to inexplicably lose the SECC, Georgia would likely get another bite at the apple in January.
