The offense was better with Gibbs on the sideline.

This isn’t a knock against Gibbs more than it is BOBs inability to scheme for his incredible talents.

With that said Jase and Roydell just handle the defensive pressure better and are better between the tackles.

Anyone else notice this?

That's cap!

Offense still sputtered bro mainly because of the OC.

Booker also replaced Cohen so yea the line blocked a little better but every single running back missed a block assignment.

to be fair we appear to have worn them down in the second half and ran between the tackles better.

our outside runs and those bubble screens to the WR's out wide have gotten us Jack crap all year. I assume they are using those plays to set up for something later.

did Bama even complete a long pass more then 20 yards downfield.

Might have been that way yesterday, but that has definitely not been the case the rest of the season. Until last night, Gibbs has been the only back that consistently produced

Gibbs has had his bright spots but the young man can't pick up a blitz to save his soul.

To me, it makes the most sense to use Gibbs as a third down back since he's best as a pass catcher. Ironically, that's the down they always take him out

It's also the down they're likely to blitz, and he whiffs on those.

I see him as Pollard on the Dallas cowboys... We should rotate him and the bigger backs the same way cowboys do with Zeke and Pollard.

McCellan and Williams can pick up blitzes better than Gibbs.

His blitz pick up and blocking is horrendous, but that’s the only knock on him. He has been the spark plug we needed all season and I hate that he has BOB as an OC, with Sark or Kiffin as OC, he would have been an absolute nightmare.

We actually committed to the run in the second half. It made a big difference. Gibbs healthy, would have looked just as good running the ball.

Offense definitely seemed to spark better in the 2nd half.

We were suddenly able to run the ball, and that's where the game changed.

I dunno...maybe taking all these transplants and putting them in front of Alabama recruits that have put in the time is a recipe for bad morale?

Team seemed to play harder for the other two RBs, to my eyes.

Our coaches have no idea how to use our talent, and that includes Saban. Saban may have all the NC rings and may can chalkboard plays all day, but in a circle of good coaches, he is often playing checkers while they are playing chess. Malzahn could out scheme him all day. He's very mechanical. This is why he often can't hire good coaches.

Ole Miss was the first game we have committed to the run with Bryce at QB this season. That's another gripe I have with BOB. We should have two 1,000 yard RBs this season.
