Just want to give props to Will Friend. Not perfect, but I thought he called a good game despite the ineptitude of Ashford. We score at least 14 more points if we had even a 2nd string QB.

The line, I thought, gave Robbie enough time in the pocket to be successful. He just either bailed too early and tried to do too much with his feet, or he simply couldn't complete a pass.

Both Tank and Hunter had exactly 121 yards rushing a piece when TAMU knew for at least 3 1/2 quarters all we could and would do was rush the football.

I don't want to think about how much success we would have had if A&M had to respect the pass.

My respect for both Friend and Schmedding has increased substantially.

Ashford slips, falls, flops more than any qb I've ever seen. It's almost like he loses control of his body in high stress situations

Schmedding is the only Boise guy that is worth anything. But I believe that has more to do with him coming up in the Eastern Washington program than his time with Harsin. EWU is a solid small football program.

Yes, happened several times last night. It almost looks unnatural.

Let’s not forget to also put some blame on the WRs. They are just not getting open most of the plays.

Hard to tell when your Qb looks at the rush and never keeps his eyes downfield. Let not forget a half a step is open. hell, good Qbs complete passes in blanket coverage. WR dont have to be wide tf open for a Qb to complete a pass.

True. I guarantee you they were open enough throughout the game (especially late when they stacked the box) to complete more than 6 passes.

Very good playcalling. We had some good drives but it’s hard to have 90 yard drives where all u can do is run. A 5 yd penalty is a killer to our O

Attalla, my wife is from the Gadsden area and says Caddy had a half brother that OD.

I’m just curious if that is true. Apparently his half brother was called bud-bud.

Not that I’m aware but my memory is shot. If I remember correctly parents were divorced, mom lived in Gadsden while dad in Attalla

Have you seen a wide cut or anything? Not flaming I'm genuinely curious.

I've often wished I had a wide cut during games so I could have a better sense of whether or not guys are open.

Watch the sky cam stream that ESPN has sometime. It gives a whole field view. What happens a lot with the WRs is they end up running beside each other for some reason. Like the ball Ashford underthrew to Moore. He and Shed were like 6 feet apart.

And from what I can tell, he is well liked by everyone. In his interviews he seems like a cool guy.
