Is he wrong?

Synopsis- there shouldn't have been time on the clock for a punt to even happen. Either run out the clock or go for big plays with less than a minute on the clock.

Yeah he screwed that up.

Meh. Kirby was a victim of his own creation, there. He has created a defense so rock solid that in playing a bit loose there, in an attempt to add to the lead, he had to believe that, at worse, he punts and maybe MSU takes a couple of shots to get into field goal range.
Now, if your problem is with play selection, maybe put that on Monken. We are all so quick to give him the offensive accolades, why can't we give him some blame also?
All in all, I like seeing Kirby choose to be aggressive, as his tendencies in the past have been uber-conservative.
He's been slammed plenty for that, as well.
Who's coaching special teams? Seems like we can dump some shite on him. Chochran, right?

I agree with that… Kirby is showing his confidence in his team. Years past, myself included, people would bitch at him for running out the clock. He likes this team alot.

Is Cochran back as an active coach? Muschamp had ST last season.

Muschamp moved from off-field defensive analyst to special teams during the season when Chochran could no longer handle his buzz.
Chochran did come back. Just not sure if in the same role.
And if Keelee makes that fricking tackle, we aren't even discussing this.
I'm not going to second guess any of it though, at the time, I wanted to. I'm just going to enjoy a coach that preaches and practices "attack" and instills that same attitude in the kids that play for him.

I get the feeling that this just may be his favorite squad, so far. It just seems that way during his QA sessions.
Not sure if that is true or not, or even if it means that Kirby believes it to be his best, but it just seems that they are extra special to him.

Nice of Uncle Lou not to be out driving. He's never played a snap of ball in his life, but CKS should hold his opinion in high regard.

Lets compare Lous troohy case to Kirbys.....
shite happens.
shite happens.

Good observation and I agree, you can tell he is proud of these guys for buying into his "last year was last year" rhetoric.
For the punt, Kirby mentioned it at half, but they had one more personal punt protector in thsn normal. So one less skill guy that can run and tackle. Could have been the difference.
And you're right, we bitch about him not being aggressive all the time, so ccmt have it both ways.

While true, the difference was Keelee missing that tackle. I know first guy misses a lot on punt returns, even when contact is initiated (momentum and shite) but he didn't even really slow the dude up.

He absolutely mismanaged that

A run play was called on 3rd down (QB draw) and Stetson decided to use the secondary call/audible and used the pass option

He admitted it, but also said that a qb draw was called but got rpo'd by stet at the line into a pass that fell incomplete.
Huge mistake if the game was close but as it is, Kelee just needs to make that tackle with the big guys out there.

Blaylock needs to catch that ball
The last two in big moments he hasn’t come down with. The last one was for a 1st down against UT

Oh, hi. I was accused by someone of being a bleeding liberal vagina because they assumed I was you.
Nice to meet you.

Well in fairness, both your handles are kinda gay so it makes sense.

And, in fairness Finley, I have no experience with the "gay", so I have no point of reference with which to argue.

Kirby acknowledged he screwed that up in press conference.
*third down play was a Stetson call. Play was a run.
Also acknowledged they didn’t have speed guys in for coverage.
That said ..Ringo and others didn’t cover well.
