Less imaginative than Alabama is the NE Patriots.

Of that Saban and Belicheck are both 71, best friends and suddenly have teams that are so bland on offense

Both are suffering from garbage coordinators.

And both hired em....but for different reasons.

Bill believes he is why they've won all their ships.

Saban just wants coordinators that won't leave every 2 years.

Both are legends that have made boneheaded co ordinator hires that aren't being glossed over by superior offensive output.

It just blows my mind that Saban so brilliantly evolved our offense in the hurry up age, and now he's ok with taking 25 seconds to snap the ball every play.

We've seen how hard our offense is to stop when we are in 2 minute offense. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

You said something then...

Mac Jones has gone from becoming one of the best rookies too getting booed at home all because of a absolutely PITIFUL HIRE.

He's in the worst situation of any quarterback.

This is what gives me a little pause about the next hire. Saban doesn’t always nail it when it comes to OCs. He’s just as likely to get a Nuss or BoB than he is a Kiffin or Sark.

Does he replace BoB with another Belicheck disciple or does he go out and get an innovative outsider?

Seems like he should go after someone from that Shanahan tree. They are taking over the NFL and that's what kids come to Alabama for, to make it to the NFL.

From reading other places...I think Iowa fans may trade their OC for BoB

But your point is pretty valid.
