After Levis shredded UT for 90 passing yards, UT rose slightly to the 127th ranked pass defense. The only SEC teams ranked lower are Vanderbilt and Arkansas.

And up to #9 on run defense. Crazy that our pass defense is so bad but we are tied for 22nd in the nation for interceptions. To go along with being 14th in forced turnovers and #13th in Redzone defense. As bad as our pass defense is, we do a lot of other things pretty good on defense.

You'll finally see a good running game this Saturday in Athens, will check back in about 7 Saturday night and see how y'all's run defense ages.
Good luck ;-)

Our entire defense looked like a top 5 unit in the nation this past weekend and that's the only thing that i care about. We are finally healthy again and rapidly improving.

Levis was a projected nu.ber one overall pick at QB.

UGA will run for at least 250 yards on Saturday.

"Up to 127th"
Just have to laugh at that.

Doesn’t Bama average 210 yards a game rushing(which is more than UGA)? Yet we held them to half their yearly avenge in yards per carry and total rushing yards. Gibbs is better than any back y’all have.

I’ll bet you UGA won’t get half of 250 rushing.

17 penalties cost Bama the momentum in that game
If they have only half of those penalties, that game isn't close. We all saw it

If we don't gift them a scoop and score, the game isn't close.
We all saw that.

Or they didn't gift you touching a downed punt on their side of the field, near the 20.

1) Kentucky's offensive scheme is just pitiful, and they lack playmakers. I saw so many drops it hurt.
2) Tennessee does have a very good run defense. Kentucky seemed to have forgotten about this and kept running on 1st and 2nd down for 2 yac.
3) Tennessee's pass defense is okay, but like Florida it busts alot of coverages. After rewatching the Tennessee @ LSU game sweet Jesus if LSUs oline was healthy (missing LT and LG, we have no depth on o-line, it's starters or bust) would that have been a different game. Every single blitz had a MASSIVE 1 on 1 bust, like 10yds of separation by LSUs reciever, sometimes 2 open at the same time.
4) Tennessee's offense does that thing where it's so effective it forces your opponent to play desperate. You will only keep them from scoring 1-5 times per game. So on average 12 possessions per game they are going to score on 7-11 of those. Can you consistently hold them to field goals, probably not. So you are gonna have to score more than 40pts your self to have a chance to win. Alot of offensive schemes are not designed around scoring 40+ PPG, so it forces you to play desperate for every scoring opportunity. This happened to LSU. LSU passed on multiple field goals, LSU was so desperate it was trying midfield 4th and longs because even though our defense was holding its own (relatively speaking) it wasn't going to hold Tennessee forever. This lead to the blowout. LSU also had some bad breaks like a muffed kickoff, and LSU forcing 3 fumbles that were all recovered by Tennessee.
Tennessee is a good team. So is Georgia, this is gonna be a very fun Saturday in the SEC West and East. I don't necessarily think Tennessee is better than Georgia, but I would rather the LSU vs Georgia matchup in an SEC championship game should we topple Bama. Georgia is a talented and fundamentally sound defense but doesn't get much pressure on the QB. LSUs offensive scheme with Jayden Daniels exploits teams that can't get to the QB through meticulous drives and chip yardage from designed QB runs.

The game will come down to Tennessee stopping Georgia's pass attack.

The defense looked good, brother

But you guys were playing Kentucky. They're mostly 0.5 dimensional on offense.
