Burcham seems like a really nice guy. And we got so spoiled by our last 2 announcers - but it is just painful listening to a game. Him and Stan are not a good match either.

I admire the guy for a lot of reasons, but he is a terrible play-by-play guy. Like worse in the SEC bad.

I had to listen to the first half via radio. One time he said Tank was dragged down from behind but never gave the yardage gained, nor implied if it was a big gainer or not. As a listener dependent on detailscliffhangers get on my nerves. I’m guessing it was Brad Law that eventually gave yardage gained.

He is terrible at calling a game and his voice is like nails on a chalkboard. I can’t listen to it.
