Is there really a total media blackout of the Texas - Hogs bball game?

Heard bits and pieces on the radio today, but apparently Longhorn Network was going to carry the game Saturday, but are no longer doing so.
Hogs can't even send a radio crew because Florida Chuck will be at the Football game and all of the schools other PBP guys like Elson will be doing pre/post game football stuff.
Which means literally no broadcaster (TV, Radio, Streaming, etc) will be carrying the game.
Cant the university literally not send an intern with an iPad and a couple local guys to call the game remotely?
Am I nuts for thinking this is inexcusable with today's technology?

Two universities with the budgets of Texas and Arkansas, and the sec conference.....should certainly be able to figure it out. What's the point of the longhorn network if they can't even get a big 3 sport against top 10 team televised.....

Home teams typically have rights to TV/stream in the contract language but I doubt they do any contracts for these exhibition games.
I think the main point of this is simple though. Coaches are paranoid.
They want every competitive advantage they can find. The UTEPs and North Dakota States of the world in season openers worry coaches most because a loss in those games are more devastating to their overall resume than a loss to a brand-name team.
Texas probably doesn't want game film for UTEP to analyze before its season opener. It's probably the reason Arkansas didn't stream last night and only put out highlights on social.
Not sure if you've notice or not but none of our exhibition games since 2019 have been televised, with the exception of the summer games in Europe.
The unique situation in 2019 was the Nolan Richardson court dedication and game against an in-state team for the first time in forever, but primarily the celebration of Nolan.

You should be able to get the Texas radio broadcast somewhere, but yeah sucks that it was taken off of the LHN

Hadn’t listened to him since 2014-5 or before… when he went full leftist shill.
Then my phone wasn’t working and he came on right after the election and was crying.. and I was like nah no more… rather listen to silence.

Hell put them on the TV show, no difference in that and Gary Danielson calling an Alabama game.

why is Texas an exhibition game?
ETA: as I just posted that, I realize it's brilliant. Our young freshman will get a great test and it won't count against us if we lose. If we win, they still got a great test, and we beat Texas.
I love it
