Things could be so much more perfect while watching Aggy implosion in real time if we could have added our own nail in the coffin.
The dumpster fire in College Station is glorious, it makes me walk out into my backyard and look up at the sky and smile, but then I remember how much more satisfying it should have been.

For some reason, Arkansas has a curse in that devil stadium. I thought the monkey was off their back after last year but he came back and stole our soul

It is why things like this is why Arkansas has been in the shitter for so long and not taken as a serious program.

The 70s and 80s were much better times. However running off Ken Hatfield put Arkansas on the slide quickly. From an SWC power to a doormat currently.

I'm going to give at least some props to Danny Ford.
Didn't win a shitload of games here, but he KNEW what kind of players it took to win in the SEC and stockpiled some for HDN to win with in '98.

Those teams in 98 and 99 were good enough to win an SEC title. Nutt didn't take advantage and had one of the worst recruiting classes in program history in 2000. He did the same shite at Ole Miss.
Sam would have went to the SEC title game in 98 and would do better than 8-4 the year after. I'm sure he wouldn't have slacked off and signed a bunch of recruits that were trouble makers and weren't going to qualify.
Ford shouldn't been hired because Frank knew that he couldn't cheat here like he did at Clemson. Lazy hire and Frank should have retired then.
