Honestly kind of surprised to see Jaxson Dart and AJ Swann this high up on the list.

Darts a pretty accurate passer. His biggest problem is he gets too excited/panics at times.

It’s attempt. Does dart throw? If he throws it’s essentially a trick play.

Go watch the LSU/Auburn film and you’ll quickly realize Swann and Dart are much better QBs than Daniels.

Looks like he has 161 attempts which is about average. Rogers at the top has 319 (!).

He actually ranks at the bottom for "uncatchable" deep balls, so I would assume that a lot of these are short-to-midrange passes?

ETA: Swann has 131 attempts.

Except when his receivers are wide open in the endzone

Just for comparison:

Daniels • 69.2% completion • 65.4% accuracy
Dart • 62.11% completion • 60.9% accuracy
Swann • 60.9% completion • 58.7% accuracy

Yeah, IDK about that.

Dart doesn’t dink and dunk. Average depth of attempt:

So Dart has the most deep passing yards, but he's also got the most "uncatchable" deep balls thrown. Hmm.

He missed a lot of shots early in the year. He seems to have much better touch lately.

The Ole Miss passing game will hopefully continue to improve. Dart had a good game against Auburn. Box score will only show 9/19 for 130 3 TDs 1 int but he had 3 drops, including one that hit the WR right in the chest but turned into a tip drill pick. But the passing game was very *effective* early and I think it opened the run game up a lot for us in the last 3 quarters, which propelled us to run for 450 yards as a team.

With our ability to run, we fortunately haven't had to rely on throwing the ball a ton. Against Vanderbilt, Kiffin made it a point to throw the ball a lot and Dart threw for 450 yards. So while we may not be the best at it, we can throw it some.

Dart's a transfer and so are most of the receivers so there's definitely some chemistry still being worked on.

That's almost absurd.

nah all of that is wrong. Ole Miss couldn't possibly improve.

LSU, on the other hand, looked competitive in one game against a Florida team who has something like 3-14 in their last 17 SEC games so clearly they're GOAT'd.

That’s not accuracy, that just means when he misses, he tends to miss by a lot. Need to look at his completion % for accuracy too. He also had the second most attempts behind Hooker. I bet if all the other “accurate” passers had 31 attempts their averages would start coming down.

He and Hooker have about the same number of attempts and are neck and neck in completion %.

Deep ball completion %

lmao. A million touchdowns. One pick. His team undefeated. Best offense in the country.

Yeah, he 'panics'.

I honestly never thought I'd see the day where Ole Miss did this against another SECW opponent.
