Where are they can’t miss places to eat these days other than Las Palmos?

Specifically within a reasonable drive from LRAFB.

Been to the mean pig several times.

Any new catfish buffets opened up?

I'd just bring some Ramen Noodles and eat on the base. No need risking your life driving south to Little Rock.

You haven't missed anything.

Heights and Hillcrest have been trapped in time for my entire life.

any momentum downtown ever had is dead.

Downtown LR isn’t that bad. Way worse downtowns out there. That’s said I’d never move back to LR given a choice.

If you're willing to venture into Maumelle, Count Porkula on Maumelle Boulevard has some of the best BBQ I've ever had - and I've traveled all over the country with my job.

The BBQ nachos are the best thing I've eaten in a long time

This. Travel to the Midwest states like Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Idaho, even Oklahoma - or look at Mississippi and northern Alabama, northern Louisiana, the southern third of Missouri...

They make Little Rock look like a sweet and beautiful bustling metropolis, especially the cities not built on a river or any kind of water. The same can be said for the cities in NWA, they're beautiful, safe, and clean compared to all of the above

if you're saying Huntsville AL or the Shoals AL or Decatur, AL are worse than Little Rock, then you've never been there.

even Mobile down south still has a Republican mayor

We shall see now that all the Californians/Oregonians/Washingtonians have fled to Coeur d'Alene.

I know a person who lived up there and said it’s turning as yuppy as Fayetteville and Bentonville.
