That ref who ultimately threw the flag? He was under the goalpost, signaling an incomplete pass.
As you noted with your post... 'signaling an incomplete pass'... half-way across the field.
He signals something he doesn't really see (a tipped-interception occurring)... then waits for the PayPal notification of transaction complete before throwing a flag... for something else he didn't see.

So your issue isn’t that pass interference occurred, because it was obvious, but rather that the wrong ref threw the flag? That’s why you are melting?

Trying to be a neutral observer here…
They broke down that hit in young a bunch. From that angle totally looks like textbook targeting. From the downfield angle you can see he hits him in the shoulder. Even the former referee they pull in the broadcast said it was not targeting.
I personally like the no call on PI there. But I think that play is typically 50/50 on if it’s called PI. Wouldn’t be surprised here either way.
Face mask should have been called 100%
I feel about the last one just like the PI - 50/50. But the instant he started getting pushed backwards I think ending the play there was the right call.
Each team views those 50/50 call through team color tinted glasses. If the the teams were switched people would be dying on the opposite hill they are defending now.

Oh look it's HT. What a surprise, he's playing dirty. Good Lord, which former teammate stole his girl?

I think that's fair.
Agree that neither PI on that last drive was egregious, and could've gone either way (both got called).
I still would like to hear an actual explanation from the crew on the last one though, because the series of events that those videos seem to show are bizarre.

From another post...looks like it just evened out.

Wow, I recall the flow of that game last year, but honestly don't even remember all of those penalties, and I was there.

The players take on the personality of their coach: bitter ahole(s)

I agree; so why were your guys doing just that?
Maybe nobody, including the refs, can stand Bama or their fans because you’re a bunch of entitled dildos.
If Bama gets 28 penalties this next game, then it’s pretty much confirmed.
Watching you suffer warms my heart.

Was it? Because this ref (back judge) didn't call it, instead he clearly calls this an incomplete pass and the line judge is staring at the play and he never calls it.
This back judge, who is documented on this picture showing he can't be trusted with the call [remember he's far away enough to think it was incomplete], then throws a flag seconds later after he walks up to the goal line, thinking 'this isn't the way this was suppose to occur'.
My only melt -- not having the Paypal address to outbid the transaction.

What a time to be alive. Bama fans complaining about getting screwed over by the refs.

Dirty play. Kneeing QB while down.
Since Bama wants to turn in questionable calls to SEC office, maybe they sent this is also.
If that's what you've got in your gun, you better hope everyone else shows up with a knife.

now show where the ref was when the bama defender wrapped his left arm around the tennessee receiver
It's not pass interference to touch another player. The contact has to impede the receiver from making a catch on the ball.
Considering the ball was under thrown, an arm across the back is not impeding him at all. Also, the defender is making a play on the ball and does make a play on the ball, getting a tip. He has as much right to the ball as the receiver.
Do you think every hail mary has pass interference from all the contact that goes on when all the players are going for the ball?

Its amazing how fast Bama fans went from the refs don't help teams to suddenly they help when they lose.
I never said the refs changed the outcome of the game against or in our favor. Please find my post.
In another thread I even stated even with the calls made they did not put us in that situation. They had nothing to do with us getting ran over in the 1st Qtr. Nice try though

No, he didn't. The fact he is behind him the entire time pretty much says he had him well covered.
