All year I've been noticing some of our pass plays we're running two or three man routes. We're also lacking using Latu as the lone tight end because we honestly need a vertical threat at tight end. Latu's blocking has also been horrible this year. The two back set with McClellan and Gibbs has not worked all year and is taking speed off the field by removing a receiver. Every week we're saying no one is getting open but there's a reason to that. Our routes take too long to develop and no pre snap eye candy to confuse the defense. We're putting up points but it's not because of our offensive scheme, its because of great individual effort. We rarely run slants and that would definitely help our offense.

The offense isn’t outdated, the problem is BoB.

For all of the progress we made when hiring Kiffin, it was negated by hiring BoB. The guy was with the Patriots and Brady yet didn’t win a Super Bowl.

We haven’t seen any development from our skill players and our playcalling is the opposite of innovative. Our success on offense is 100% due to Bryce.

I don't really see the offense as outdated.

McClellan and Gibbs are probably two of the fastest guys on the team and both are faster than almost every WR we have. Bond and Prentice are the only two close and Gibbs is probably faster than both.

Bob makes some dumb calls (the management of our last possession Saturday being example #1) but your post doesn't really ring true at all.

You give Bryce 4 first round WRs like Tua had and no one would say it's outdated.

Contrast that to what Blake Sims and Jalen Hurts became as passers.

Brilliant analysis. I bet you dwelled on this idea all weekend. You still wear a bib when you eat?

It's just ran old Pro Style, which is often bland and more based around athletes making the plays than being original scheme wise.

It's a double-edged sword to pitch getting recruits ready for the NFL with a pro system at the expense of shunning more creative playcallers.

Even the NFL is trying to progress hiring 30 somethings to run their offenses instead of the old heads time after time. Andy Reid is one of the few that still has a great feel for the game that's been around forever.

When I say outdated I'm talking about BOB's offense. Not the personnel. There's no way to get open running a two man route against seven defenders.

Tell me you're a fricking twentysomething year old kid without actually stating your age.

Are you this fricking stupid in real life every day, or is this just your message board persona? I'm going with the former. That would be option A, since I have to explain it to you.
