Somebody, anybody... please talk me through it.

First down rush to the line (only time entire game) quick snap ball, actually catch Tenn not even lined up - throw ball out of bounds seemingly intentionally.

Now, proceed to throw the ball twice more stopping the clock, and failing to center the ball on the field.

Leave enough time on clock to lose the game.

I don't know about you fellas, but if I'm in the booth with BoB I'm promise you I say, "uhh, we may want to run it a couple times to make sure we kick the FG on the last play of regulation.

Anybody ? Can anyone explain this level of incompetence ? I mean this is day 1 shite. I'm sitting on my couch calling this shite in real time, and we got millions of dollars worth of coaches that can't figure out you want to kick that FG with 4 seconds left on the clock ?

That's when I decided we actually deserved to lose.

I agree with you but supposedly it's Bryce Young calling our offensive plays now

That entire series was terrible, but ultimately that's on Saban right there.

Saban's gotta stop thinking we can rely on our defense for ANYTHING.

Playing to kick a long FG attempt is not good strategy.
Imagine if we just ran up the middle, took a knee, etc. And then still missed a long FG attempt at the end.

How much bitching would we be doing as the game would be going to OT?

Yeah we were never making a long FG there. Have to try and score a TD until the clock hits 1 second.

I think he threw the first pass away under pressure. I believe we thought we could move close enough passing and keep making first downs. If Gibbs had caught that 3rd down pass, we would have been in great shape.

Yeah that's better than losing in regulation.

We have to play both sides. We have to run a little clock to ensure TN can't beat us, but also try to pick up chunk yardage. it's tough, but it can be done. 3 straight incompletions is about the worst thing that could've happened in that scenario.

Seeing as how they kicked the game winner with 2 seconds left it was the only thing we couldve possibly done to lose the game in regulation
