Is it just me or does the SEC seem way down this year.

Bama does everything but lose to Texas.
Auburn is as bad as can be.
UF and LSU are both bad football teams.
UT and OM are undefeated.
UGA is good but are they National championship good?
aTm is aTm
State is state
Arky is back to normal Arky
UK is above average
USCe is almost as bad as us

I agree.

Wouldn’t shock me one bit to see another league win the whole thing this season.

It’s odd how everyone forgot all about Clemson. They have SEC caliber athletes too.

Talent is spread around more thanks to the portal and NIL. We just didn't get in on any of it

Bama had 17 penalties today. 16 against A&M right? I don’t really know what is going on there. They also had a shite ton against Auburn and Texas when they were for so long the standard of discipline. I think Saban is struggling keeping up with the easy access of the portal and NLI. He can’t be as much of a hardass.

So they did. They have a very capable quarterback though. Wish we had him on our team!

We got destroyed by PSU. We hung in there against Ole Miss. Michigan murdered Penn State today

Rankings have half of the SEC conference in the Top 25.

The SEC isn’t down. It’s probably strong as ever with Tennessee getting good and the Mississippi schools getting good. Auburn is down and why people at the top need to go.

Harsin should get a call tonight.

I think you are missing the point. When LSU UF AU aTm are all down and none have a QB. Obviously other teams have to win games but OM MSU UK aren’t exactly world beaters. OM probably loses 4 games this year they have played absolutely no one. Vandy and AU the 2 worst teams in the conference

Okay that means we still have fricking idiots at the top if our schools aren’t winning.

The sec still isn’t down. Other SEC schools are undefeated and winning.

Bama is Bama
UGA is UGA
UT is up
OM is up
Miss St is up
LSU is down
AU is down
Florida is down
A&M is on par
Ark is on par

The rest don't matter

I would say the conference is about where it typically is

It's not down, but the dominant teams have changed. Florida and LSU are both in transition with new coaches (LSU is improving week to week). Auburn is much worse than would normally be expected and TAMU is underperforming (though not terrible). I would say MSU is better than usual as is Ole Miss.

Bama is still Bama and UGA is still sitting atop the league. UT is back to late 90's form.

I don't see a whole lot of things that are surprising except for Auburn being so bad.
