Bama down playing things because of concern over Young starting or not.

And UT thinking they are "back" and "big josh" is their lord and savior.

UT is proving that they are the worst fanbase.

I was in school in the 90s.
Tennessee football was religion and they viewed everyone else as heretics.
Talking to a vol fan back then was like being jumped by the Spanish inquisition.

Hope is a beautiful thing... as I watch it get crushed and snuffed out.

I grew up in the 90s so my first relaly vivid CFB memories started around the middle of the decade. UT was elite back then and we definitely were not, it felt like we'd never beat those guys regularly. Incredible how times have changed.

All that said, I'm still pulling for them to beat alabama this weekend as ultimatley I believe it's in UGA's best interest.

I thought it was LSU, but my mind has changed...it's definitely UT and their delusions of grandeur.

Don't worry. The lights will turn back on Sunday and the UT roaches will scurry back under the baseboards.

It's amazing how a narrow OT win over Pitt (same Pitt that got punked by Georgia Tech)

A narrow win over an abysmal Florida

And a blowout over an abysmal LSU team (who made Auburn look like they knew how to play football for a majority of the game)

Can make those retards so ready for the big time.

Huge discrepancy in caliber of player, if Bamas back up cuts out the turnovers Bama still wins big.

UTs Offense will face off against bamas d and between bamas dbs and dline, bama will dominate the trenches.

Funny seeing Hope raise her head somewwhere else.

I want to make fun of this but honestly, wiht as utterly shittastic as their program has been for over a decade, I can't really blame them. Any of us would be acting the same way in their position.

That will also make the losses that much sweeter. It's entirely possible they lose 2 of their next 4 games and if Levis is healhty and UK can get their head out of their arse maybe even 3 of the next 4.

I agree. It slightly reminds me of how we used to think, "Oh yea, this is the team that can knock off anyone for a National Title" after we tasted some lite success, only to have Florida/Alabama/(insert whoever) find us and blow our doors off.

It's been so long since they've mattered on the national stage, they don't really understand what it takes to be one of the 4 best teams in the nation.

I disagree. If Bama meets us in the SECCG with a loss, then they know they have to win to make the Playoff. Like last year. If they meet us undefeated, they won't have that win or die attitude as we did last year. We need Bama to be less desperate when we meet them.

It's awesome, I rarely pull for Bammer, but I hope they curb stomp Tennessee Saturday by 30+.

Tenner hasn't beat anybody with as pulse and yet they think they are gonna make the playoffs this year, lulz..

you think bama is going to try any more or less hard against us based on how many losses they have?

the ONLY reason we made the playoff last year is because OkSt choked at the end of hte year and there were no valid alternatives to put above us. If bama or uga is undefeated into the SECCG and loses, it's entirely possible the loser does make the playoffs just as its entirely possible they're left out, it's completely dependent on what the other P5 conf champions look like.

this is just silly. Again they aren't going to try less hard if htey have no losses.

If bama is undefeated and we beat them, tyhere's a 50/50 chance we may have to play them again. No human on earth with a brain should aspire to have to play bama twice in a month.

If bama has a loss and we beat them, they're 10000% out of the playoffs and we're a massive, monumental step closer to being national champs.

Call me crazy but I'd rather a sceaniro where we don't have to beat alabama twice.

Not true, our body of work the whole season with no L's put us in there. It was anomaly game for us in the SECG and the voters understood that.
Also, they put us at #3 and not #4, which tells you we were in regardless of OK St. winning or losing.

that's not true or provable at all, and we did have an L. To go along with not winning a title. Our resume was 12-1 without a conf. championship. You know how many times in history a 1 loss P5 champ has been left out of hte playoffs in favor of a non-champ? Zero. It's never happened.

The voters are clear and consistent with their decision making and have been for 8 years. I am basing my opinion on black and white facts of what they've actually done, not just conjecture. A 1-loss big 12 champion that was ranked 5th going into the weekend that had multiple top 10 wins on their resume would 100% be in the playoffs over a 1-loss tema that did not win their conference.

to avoid us having to play bama for a 2nd conseutive game..

Tenner is eating a healthy helping of rat poison. I think it’s like when bama came to athens in 2008. They’re gona drag their nuts all over neyland.

The Vols are going to win. It's not that Tennessee is that great but Bama is running on fumes.

Bama can take hooker away, Bama just needs to run the ball, play keep away, and use play action.

#1 composite vs the #19 composite, almost every player is better at bama.
