Just trying to understand. Everybody sure is quick to lump Bielema and Chad together as horrible and Pittman as saving the program. Bielema was certainly a step above Chad but it also feels like Pittman may be more similar to Bret than we want to believe?

Win 9 games for one. The A&M game everyone of us loves to whine and moan about(for good reason) was like every other week with Bret.

Bert had some decent seasons. Do you expect a 10 win season this year especially with a coach that had no head coaching experience?

Who lumps Bielema and Chad together? Bielema was a half way decent coach who ate and drank his job away. Chad might literally be the worst coach in SEC history.

My initial perception of Pittman is that he’s a poor man’s Houston Nutt. “Simple guy” that loves the helmet and gets buy in from his kids but a decidedly mediocre head coach.

I did. We brought back most of the key pieces to a 9 win team.

What record do you think we finish with this year? I thought 8-4 was fair pre-season. While it’s still feasible, the product we’ve seen on the field certainly doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence IMO.

Win a conference game his first season? Beat Texas A&M? Win 9 games in a season? Lose weight?

At best this team was 9-3 but that includes breaks like what they got last year.

Now they are going to be what the record says they are.

And that’s quickly turning into one of our “good games” on the season. Not a good sign.

But Arkansas really didn’t.

Lost key defensive linemen. Lost DBs to transfer portal. Lost Mo Brown to draft. Lost Grant Morgan. Lost best WR who masked bad throws at times from KJ.

I don’t think he’s been a drunk sack of shite that gave up on the program, for one.

No. But I do expect us to not look incompetent all around.

Define breaks.

Playing the best Georgia team ever for the second straight year?

5 SEC road games?

Getting a game stolen from us in Auburn?

replaced with a corner almost as good in nudie. Brought in a linebacker better than grant. Brought back 4 lineman, qb, and an entire stable of backs. Should be enough to off set one skill position player, even one as good as burks. Pathetic regardless

Then fire Sam and surely someone better will take this job like the last coaching search.

That’s routine shite. Good programs replace way more talent than that every single year.

The thought was that Pittman would start bringing in more talent than he was losing. Also, with third year coordinators making a fortune, people expected execution to improve not deteriorate dramatically.

He’s Nutt in a tougher SEC and with none of the petty bullshite character flaws.
