Weirdest/oddest foods you've eaten

Currently in Seattle for the next 5 days, so we went to a Filipino fusion spot with some friends. Ended up ordering the Maeng Da aka giant water beetle as a starter:
Pluck the legs, then the wings (4 total), then pop the head off and suck the insides of the body out. (You do not eat the legs, wings or head). It wasn't bad at all, just EXTREMELY salty.. like you've eaten a spoonful of soy sauce or vegemite.
Got me thinking of all the oddities I've tried over the years and here is my list:
1: Kangaroo lasagna (delicious, told it was kangaroo after the fact, taste like beef)
2: Giant water beetle (salty AF)
3: Scorpion lollipops (scorpion tasted like cardboard)
4: Squirrel head (gamey, weird, but good)
5: Baby octopus that was still "nerve twitching" (Imagine calamari without the breading, yet you're eating the tentacles and head too, the size of a half dollar)
What are some of the weirder foods y'all have eaten in your travels?

Pig rectum
Most Calamari served in restaurants is actually a pig's a-hole.

While already killed with fire, I have no desire to munch on these.

I'll eat just about anything, but the only dish I will never eat again is duck terrine aspic. I had it in France and it remains the only dish in my life that I've spit it out on the first bite.
I was young at this point and did not understand "terrine" and "aspic" and the description said something about duck confit and a few other things. I had no idea I was about to get duck liver jello

Pig brain … you picked up the raw brain then put it in hot oil pot sitting in middle of table like a fondue pot…
Another meal was served boiled duck feet.. toes were crunchy and webs were chewy
Had what we would consider good thick cracklings… but they just boiled it and put a sweet syrup on it… solid fat..
I ate a lot of vegetables when in China.
Have had bugs but they were all fried so just crispy and spicy.

Harkal
It is Fermented SharkMeat (word spacing intentional) that is eaten in Iceland. Apparently the water near there is so cold that the sharks have a certain type of antifreeze type substance in their circulatory system. If eaten fresh it is lethal. So to prepare to eat, it must be hung to rot until that substance drains out. Then it is prepared. Smelled and tasted faintly of ammonia.

Just seems like everything is covered in syrup (including fish) or that brown sauce which seems to not add flavor

Under rated quote from the Kenny Rogers Roasters episode. That episode was full of great ones.

Yep, ate that at the Rattlesnake Rodeo in Opp. I've also eaten fried eel, it was good, but once cool, blood (or something like it) ran out of it, and it returned to a raw like state. Not bad when warm, though, indistinguishable from catfish. Also had a Seafood Hot Pot (sort of a stew) at a Chinese Restaurant once. I asked what something in it was, and the waiter informed me it was "fish maw". When I inquired what "fish maw" was, he said in a very Chinese accent "fish maw, dried fish stomach, very good".
