If you watched the tape he's not been bad. He's not the quickest but he's really powerful.

Lol ?? I’m glad you’re studying tape buddy. Get out of here with that.

He’s the worst on the line by far. I don’t need “tape” to see it. I bet you’ve never broke down tape in your life.

I keep thinking they will realize Seth M is the better choice since he's quicker but nope. Line seemed to play much better last year when DD got hurt.

Ok. I guess Nick Saban and the people that awarded him SEC lineman of the week don't know as much as you.

So, maybe you can explain it to them? Or maybe you can go frick yourself.

Hes terrible. I have no idea why he's in there over Seth M. It makes no sense to me.

This is incredible to see people melting down on a player based on last year. I've seen improvement put of him in last 2 games.

There seems to be a growing contingent of fans that expect these guys to be in mid-season form from the word go. And when they aren’t, they are begrudged for the remainder of their season/career.

I’ve seen a lot of improvement from the positions that had question marks coming into 2022. These guys are allowed to grow and develop. New faces among players and coaches alike.

Right that's pretty solid. I think they're upset based on last year performance.

Love what you do SOG but are these numbers not misleading when you take into account opponent or do PFF grades take that into account? Dalcourt looked fine vs ULM and Utah State.. he got beat multiple times vs Vandy and Texas. McLaughlin got beat a few times the second game vs UGA but so did every other starter on the OL and looked really damn good vs everyone else including the first game vs UGA.

Did you not watch him get abused at times vs Texas? Or how about the Vandy game where he still looked average at best.

Yea I don't pretend to know much about offensive line other than clear one on ones of guys getting beat, and PFF can be spotty, so I'm not endorsing it as a gold standard.

And you are correct re: opponent adjustment - they do not.

I don't think DD is very good and have been advocating for Seth at center since last year when he came in and the OL got better immediately. That said, happy for DD and hope he continues to improve to the point where he's actually worthy of winning an award like this.

I agree with this. I'm not saying he's some great player but he has improved. This award isn't purely performance based. It includes academics, on field performance, and community service.

Look who that was against. He still got whipped multiple times early in the game (1 resulted in holding). He also had a terrible snap infraction.

I bet he gets at least 2 penalties this weekend or whipped multiple times. Eyes will be on him.

Good for him. When he first signed with Bama, I thought he would be the best pure center that CNS had recruited in his tenure. Hasn’t exactly panned out like I thought it would but he’s serviceable. Seems really weak at the point of attack and if I were an opposing DC, I would line someone up straight over the ball every time. But he has some time and I’m rooting for him.
