Sure, the fanbase is relatively small. But I expect an SEC program having a historic run to put asses in seats.
State has a similar size stadium. They had 7 wins last year, OM had 10. Why aren't they struggling to put asses in seats?
What's the closest population center to Starkville? Tuscaloosa?
