I’m not one to melt often, but it’s hard not to melt after that. I can handle losing but not beating ourselves. Just frick it all

It’s fine to melt. People can hate. But this was atrocious.

Season is toast. Might as well bench all the seniors and start getting reps for next years guys

I will enjoy the other wins we have this season.

If we finish with 9 wins again... It is a successful season for us overall.

8 even against this schedule.

Next year’s guys are playing in the conference USA right now. The guys on our bench are going to be playing in C-USA next year.

I would have rather been beat down than have our own coaches beat us.

It's going to be a challenge to get to 9 wins when you give away Ws. A&M is not good this year, and looking at the stats from this game shows it. This was Bielema level disappointment, and this is the first time I have really felt like this staff shite the bed. Pittman has got to tell Briles to cut that cute shite out. It's concerning that Pittman is still allowing these ridiculously low percentage plays to keep happening at the worst possible times. Those plays are designed for huge chunks of yards and/or a TD, and it hasn't happened once in 3 years. So basically it has a 0% success rate.

beating ourselves

That's exactly what happened

OC did not cost us the game

DC did not cost us the game

"Lack of talent" did not cost us the game and anyone who believes that is a certified football idiot

Mistakes cost us the game

Case in point...

The Achane, 70 yard run...

Zach Williams at DE blew up the kick out block so beautifully that it should be shown at every coaching clinic. Here came the kick out and Zach hit and crossed the face of the OL guy, bouncing the play outside, textbook, beautiful

But, Drew, and I love him, totally missed his read and didn't scrape outside as a reaction follow to Zach bouncing it outside. Drew, just read the running back dude

but he didn't

He ran up inside trying to create something that was not there - and Achane fricking burned us

The 2nd and 30...

That was linebacker coverage all the way

I haven't watched the replay yet, but the in LB coverage area was the grand canyon

We were in zone coverage so I doubt the LBs could have been blitzing

More free lancing instead? That's my guess, I'll have to go back and look at it

Yep. I'm freaking livid. And Bump just hasn't been the same. Love the guy but he was never fast but just looks 2 steps slower than his best.

I can't sleep

Pool doesn't have the speed or quickness to make open field tackles.

Open field tackling and self inflicted wounds is the story of this one. Missed FG sucked but it should have never come down to it.
Is what it is… we lost that one ourselves. Gotta move on.

Didn't sleep much. Still pissed off. Feel similar bad taste going into Miss St in 98 after Tennessee. Kinda feels the same.

He was never that fast or quick. He had the same issues last year and Sam knocked him down the depth chart and started Henry over him.

Sometimes if it was a bad game and they missed tackles then it is on the coaching but they just keep missing the same tackles over and over again then it is something else.

The back end doesn't seem very athletic.
