Some mascots make proper grill fare; others are revered and would never be skewered.

Where does your university’s good luck guy/gal rank?

Barbecue dog is street vendors main fare in some countries. One just south of Texas might be one of those.

Collie is too stringy and not enough fat, which makes dor a dry steak.

As your diagram accurately depicts, pigs are good eatin... we don't get offended if you eat our mascot. In fact, I will be cooking 2 lbs of thick hickory bacon for breakfast and smoked pork butt for the game.

Should we throw a collie on the barbie?

I bet a team full of razorback hogs (or even border collies for that matter) could've beaten Appalachian State at football

Your mascot would also eat Sooners and Volunteers, if given the chance.

The only reason we don't eat dog is that predator meat is gross and full of parasites.

Reveille would have worms and eat dead carcasses if given half the chance.

I would like to see a video of a tiger trying to take on a 500 pound wild hog!

So after I read your post, I got curious. I did a youtube search and I did find a female tiger(about 200 pounds give or take) kill a wild boar, but nowhere near 500 pounds(maybe a 100 lbs). So I don't know. But I will point out that some male Tigers can weigh up to 680 pounds. That's 680 pounds of cat!
