In your dreams. That has made A&M the laughing stock of the country!

By who? You mean when Jimbo said it wasn't true? What did you think he was going to say?

Yes and that's why A&M is falling appart and may even drop below their perennial mediocrity. Inmature kids went there solely for money, there is no chest in that team. Nobody grows ups wanting to play for a mediocre program with queer traditions.

Yeah, A&M bought the #1 class

Hell, Georgia lost some games after they started buying the #1 classes; bama did too

Its 3 and 5 years down the road that all those millions in payments to players takeshold

Correct, among other things, we learned that they bought a class that was not, in fact, number 1 the other day against App State.

At least daddy Texas can admit how much they spend on recruits.

Let's think this one through. You are a 5* recruit and can play anywhere in the country.

Is location your priority? College Station, Texas has to be in the bottom quarter of the Power 5 schools. In fact, I can only think of a handful that are clearly worse (Lubbock and Stillwater come to mind).

In it for the party? Again, College Station doesn't have a great reputation here. It might beat out a few religious and military schools.

Does a proud, winning tradition appeal to you? Not sure ol' 8-4, 1939 A&M is pulling kids away from Alabama and Saban on this front, or even from mid-tier P5 programs.

What about the academics? No 5* recruit gives a rat's arse about this, just kidding.

And if playing in a premier conference is important to you, why pick a team that has never finished higher than third in its own division? Any Big 6 schools plus OU are clearly better options.

How about elite coaching? Well, there are at least three superior coaches in A&M's own division, let alone in the rest of the CFB landscape.

So what's left here that's attracting these kids to College Station? Hmmm.
