“Stat of the day from @nickwenger5:

Out of 131 FBS football teams, Arkansas has the 131st worst pass defense.

Combined with all 123 FCS teams, Arkansas is 251 out of 254.

Combined with all D2 teams, Arkansas is 412 out of 416.

Add all D3 teams, Arkansas is 649 out of 656.“.

Jesus. Hopefully you all can get this fixed. 100% the weak spot on your team.

I know Golfer and Porker will spew unrelated bullshite in this thread but those that can have a conversation about it, are you optimistic that it will be fixed or are you thinking it’ll be the downfall of the team?

Anything about their ranking in the NFL?

The only year the Rebs can't throw the ball all over the yard since 2012, Arkansas has the worst passing defense in the country. Fitting.

how will one of your RBs be an all american when they're both great and fighting for touches?

Another post about this stupid comparison.

Comparing stats across divisions is stupid. Our secondary is obviously better than D3 secondaries, but we're playing mostly similar talent to ourselves for the most part just like they're playing similar talent to themselves. Overall stats are probably going to look pretty similar at all levels of football, so if we're last in FBS we're going to be last/near last when you compare to every division.

Yes, our secondary has been bad. But we've been missing our top two guys and get one back this week.

They’ll move up this week.

Bigly.

Funniest part is Arkansas leads the nation in sacks. Slusher coming back this week will be huge

The fact that you posted it makes me think you didn't actually understand that

it irks me, this secondary

getting Slush back helps, but It's not going to take it from terrible to even ok, IMO

Max should help more than Slush, IMO

It will likely catch up to us over the next several games and probably cost us a loss that we thought would be a win before Saturday.

The secondary will improve, but knew we were going to struggle when Clark held onto his CB spot.

Safety has been gutted with Catalon out for season & Slusher out until A&M game.

We will.

We still have A&M, Mizzou, and Auburn on our schedule.

Arky fan here, and I think we've had the worst pass defense in the last decade. Every stinking year.

We're used to it.

We were in prevent D the entire 4th quarter of the SCAR game so we gave up a lot of yards.

The first line of information is what stands out. Last in FBS. The rest of it don’t matter. You can go about your attempted insults but was simply seeing what you all thought about the state of your secondary and if there was hope. I don’t follow enough to know that you’re expecting a key piece to come back this next week.

Idk about the other two teams but we do put yards through the air. It’s been our running game that keeps ducking us over and the interceptions. We still get some yards in there. Not a ton but some.
