This is worse, much worse. Barfield could recruit and was a likable person. But we had a booster (Lowder) make the call to get Pat Dye from Wyoming who had tons of experience with the Bear, played at UGA. Bama has one booster who calls the shots (Bear, Jr) and told Mal Moore to go get Saban, damn the cost, don’t come back without him.

One of Our boosters (Harbert) picked Leath, who hired Greene. Greene hired the Idaho Spud. Harbert gave Malzahn the crazy contract.

So who will be our Alpha Booster, Yellow fella or Harbert. (Both give millions of dollars to Auburn). I actually vote for yellow fella. He catches a lot of crap, but we need him on that wall.

ETA: Barfield lost to UT at home 42-0 (fired at season end), Chiz 2012. With early signing day, we cannot wait that long.

Dude, most of these posters were not even alive when Barfield was here.

It is starting to sound more like the boosters have made better decisions than the university.

Rane made his fortune. Harbert is a lucky spermer.

It has been a while. I remember it though. I remember when Shug Jordan was the head coach. We went through some challenges but wound up with Pat Dye who was a great fit for Auburn. I hope our next head coach will be someone who loves Auburn and can help us get where we want to be.
