I thought they were supposed to be elite and would eat the young Texas OL up? I know Anderson was doubled at times, but what about Turner or other guys?

They got stuck all games. Even our blitzes are the end were a little slow to get there

We delay the blitz so much that it’s basically pointless

We were almost there a lot today.

And when they did get in the backfield, there were sometimes missed tackles

Bump all that...where the heck was Chris Braswell? Where was that package with all 3 of them on the field together?

On a single play we had Malachi Moore missed a wide open sack followed up by a Will Anderson whiff.

We were making their hobbled 2nd string QB look like Johnny Football, the way he slipped out of our pass rush time after time.

Maddening

Both of the Longhorns’ lines held up pretty well today.

In the same place as the Ocho package.

We flat out missed 2 or 3 sacks with poor tackling.

Defense played pretty well. Texas schemes they were either dumping it real quick or max protecting.

Yep. Quick passes, screens, poor tackling and execution.

Yep and believe it or not Texas schemed is so well. It was impressive honestly. I’m positive Texas spent good time on us.

Based on…the media? They haven’t been elite for years.

Mate, what? They were 2nd in the country in sacks last year.

I’m dejected too. The loss or 3 is coming, let’s not change history because we sucked today. They smoked quarterbacks last year. Mathis, Turner, Anderson all went 8+ individually.
