They do underhanded sh*t like this all the time and act tough like they want the smoke, until it happens. Then it is more convenient to act like the victim and cry to the refs or league office.

This is what Texas does. Ya'll thought they would be a welcomed addition. Nope. Get ready for BS like this :

Sending bills to Paul Finebaum for throwing a helmet.

Making visiting teams band sit in the upper bowl of their stadium.

Bama, you have one job. Do it well.

Don't misunderstand having respect for other programs, their traditions, and their fans as being soft. That's football, that's SEC football, and we'll frick you up if you come into OUR CONFERENCE and attempt to be anything other than respectful.

Get your shine box ready for Saturday.

You are talking to old SWC guy here. My highest hope as a fan was to never be in a conference with Texass again. They are cancer, and the SEC wants to find out the hard way.

I’m sure we will do whatever our new conference requires members to do.

I was asking a legitimate question. If Texas only normally offers 2k tickets to visitors, where are the other 10 going to come from?

Ok so the existing narrative is correct then, right? According to you, Texas cried to the league that it wasn’t fair that teams got away with horns down, so the league caved and made that a penalty. Not sure why y’all are trying to push back on this.

I think the preference was that we could throw downward hand signs and join in the fun too, but if you prefer the aggy retard interpretation then go for it. No Texas fan gives nearly as many fricks about it as all of you do. I personally love it. It helps build the brand.

And the B12 is a shitty, collapsing conference of which nobody wants to be a member. Seems to be a Big12 thing as well, no?

Wait, you have a 100,000+ capacity stadium, have no problem placing your own band where they can be heard, but cannot bear to have the opposing team's band in the lower section, and then want to call them soft?

I'm calling you soft because you're crying incessantly about it. Quit. fricking. Crying.

How did it become a Big 12 thing to put the opponent’s band in the upper deck corner?
Surely it was not always this way. I don’t remember it being that bad when A&M was Big 12.

What were the origins?

Even if it’s been that way for the past decade, it still doesn’t make it any less chickensh*t…

Guys, the BXII just operates different. Aggie had to change things when they joined the league (theirs was more student section location).

It's not that big a deal. This wasn't a specific thing to LSU or Alabama, it's just how they do it with everyone. It'll change when they join the league.

If we were still starting repeated threads about it every single day 10 years after the fact, this would be an apt comparison. We moved on. We .... wait for it .... stopped crying about it. Learn from our example.

Problem is, UTexas has not stopped. There is maybe a week or two that it is not said, maybe even a month but it is said. So you have not moved on.

By the way, this is not me saying this but from my UTexas graduate cousin.

Irony. You force a team's band to sit in the nosebleeds and we're soft.

Doesn't matter. After Saturday we'll own your little stadium. When we come back I guarantee our band comes with us and sits close enough to the field that you won't be able to ignore them.
