Watch the blocking by 19. This is what happens when you need fast guys to cover him. The mismatches he creates pay more dividends than just catching the ball.

I noticed that, too. The TD's he scored on Michigan and Bama both had McConkey and Rosemy Jack Saint throwing great blocks too. Most of the quick out aren't going very far without great blocking by the receivers.

This is what makes an offense with multiple great TEs so damn hard to defend.

The perimeter/downfield blocking by the WRs/TEs would make 3 Year Letterman cry tears of joy

Can't not mention AD Mitchell as well on that play. He destroyed his guy in the end zone to make sure he couldn't stop Ladd inside the 5.

There was a lot of really good perimeter and down field blocking by the TEs and WRs. Stuff that doesn’t get recognized in stats other than team stats.

Under normal circumstances, we've run to set up the pass. After one game, we're seeing an opposing defense terrified we're going to throw it to one of the TEs, so the RBs are open in space for the short passing game. It's a remarkable reversal of fortune.

Ahhh, I see you've been saddling up at the Beef O'Brady's bar recently. A man of culture I see.
