We needed one going. And I ran the baseball thread this year, so maybe the MOJO will rub off on the football team.

Was Kiffin keeping the playcalling vanilla or do our QBs suck arse?

We have essentially an entirely new offense as far as skill-positions and coaches go minus one WR and Luke. It's going to take time for them to get on the same page and in rhythm. Not saying that it's a guarantee that our offense will be a force again....but it's hard to expect them firing on all cylinders.

I think I would be annoyed if I was Dart and my competition got to play against Central Arkansas.

That was my point in a different thread....
I'm sure the staff is smart enough about it to look at it from purely a decision-making and mechanics standpoint but if Luke goes for 300 and 2TDs in the first half because of how awful UCA is, the fans are gonna be screaming if Kiffin picks Dart.

Yes, once we get the basics down, he should open it up more. We're definitely not at midseason form but the most improvement usually comes between week 1 and week 2.

IMHO this weekend won't result in a final decision as to the starting QB. We're lucky that we've got the first month of the season to let things play out.
