I’m not sure why everyone is ragging on LSU

For a team with a new coach that was depleted and restocked via the portal, they looked considerably better than I expected.
Maybe my expectations of Brian Kelly were more in line with reality than most LSU fans’. The guy is simply an 8-10 win coach who is wildly uninspiring and runs a pretty basic scheme.
LSU probably won’t beat Bama, but I don’t see any other games on their schedule in which they won’t have a puncher’s chance.
I would say FSU is AT LEAST as good as most of LSU’s remaining opponents.
If LSU can clean up their dumb mistakes, they have the talent to play with any of the tier 2 opponents on their schedule. Speed and athleticism is a pretty good starting point when you’re playing a game with an oblong ball.

I saw too many things that killed the Tigers over the last couple of seasons. Namely, a porous Oline, allowing way too many 3rd down conversions and stupid penalties. If BK can clean those up, there's definitely improvement potential. Otherwise, just like the last couple of seasons, the Tigers will mostly look dreadful but will spring a couple of upsets that few saw coming.

Kelly knows the the weakness are now. Don’t get wrong, our O and Defense were average, but our special teams was especially atrocious! They killed us!

This FSU team went 5-7 last year and lost to a mediocre FCS team (Jacksonville St). LSU has more talent than FSU. 247 ranks team talent every year and they are ranked #8 this year and was #5 last year. To just simply say they don’t have any talent is a flat out lie. They both should have lost and both are bad teams.

Did you watch the same game as everyone else? LSU did not look good at all in anything they did. They play undisciplined, soft and lazy. Special teams was an absolute disaster. I have seen youth football teams have better special teams than they did.

Kayshon Bouttee - Ran incomplete routes, and when he didn’t get his way he laid down and pouted. He gave up on a route that he could of scored a TD when the ball hit him in the chest and he wasn’t ready.
Special Teams - 2 blocked FG’s and 2 muffed punts.
Defense - had player ejected for targeting. He was simply frustrated and lowered his helmet and launched into the head of the QB.
Offense - outside of Daniels#5. LSU had 25 yards rushing on 14 carries. Daniels alone had 16 carries for 116 yds. LSU O-Line is terrible.
Brian Kelly back to his old ways - Instead of picking up a player who knows he messed up, he instead throws them under the bus.
FSU still needed 2 blocked FG’s and 2 muffed punts to win. And even though LSU was looked bad they still had a chance to win as FSU is just as equally bad. FSU head coach is not only one so the worse in the ACC, but the entire country. He’s no more than a Group 5 HC.
