2 losses in the SEC is not 2 losses in the Pac 12.
They're legitimately trying to make it so that the SEC stops winning when in reality there are going to be even more SEC teams floating in those spots .
The frick is wrong with these guys. There's only ever three good teams in the playoff as it is.

It’s like people refuse to face the fact that college football is over. Enjoy the next couple of years because it will become just another TV show like the NFL.

Not only does it make the regular season worthless, but why schedule quality OOC games?
Losses only hurt your chances to make the top 12.
2007: undefeated Hawaii was top 10. A single loss to a top 4 ranked team in the country dropped them to 19 (they aren't supposed to beat a top 4 team.
A top 10 team probably doesn't even look decent against a top 4 team. Why should they even drop?
Unless losses are nothing but punitive?
If losses are nothing but punitive, then why schedule tough opponents if the point is to make the playoff?

The SEC only averages 2.5 teams with 10 wins in the 12 game regular season in the playoff era. 10 wins will be even tougher with an additional SEC game.

The NFL is a much better product than current college football. Every team can hire the right people and have a chance to build a title contender.

A 2 loss team should NEVER be in a championship scenario.
Now you're gonna have 3 maybe 4 loss teams in it.
I've always said I have no problem with conference champs only being in the playoffs. They just have be 11-1 or better.
