Damn, fricked up to read "veteran RB".

Though he would kill it in the NFL. I wish San Fran would pick him up. Shanahan would help him a lot I bet.

Did a quick scan of the NFL cuts and found these former Dawgs:

Sony Michel - Miami
Cameron Nizialek - Pittsburgh
Jordan Jenkins - Houston
Terry Godwin - Tennessee
Tyler Clark - Washington
Jayson Stanley - Chicago

Average NFL career is 3 years, but it’s surprising how many good players get cut to save on cap space. Sony had a strong career with two Super Bowls and signing with Dolphins he got $500,000 guaranteed. The dolphins are only saving $900,000 in cap space so he must’ve done poorly or one of the younger backs played really well. For sure thought he would make the roster just for experience sake.

The uber competitive nature of being expendable is rough to deal with year after year.

A practice player in the NFL will make over $11,000 per week this season.

If you are on a squad all 18 weeks. It's over $200,000.

Wow.

That is a big surprise

ETA) Seattle is not settled at QB at all imo. Maybe they hope to practice squad him.

Great landing spot for him.

That official? Know they were "hoping" to cut him and then resign to the practice squad.

If they cut him, he would be on waivers right now.

Havent seen anything official tho

ETA: Eason was one of the most pure, talented throwers I've ever seen from a 17 year old. It's a shame he chose to go down a different path. Dude could fricking sling it

Justin Shaffer was cut by Falcons.

Meanwhile, picked a few picks after him, Salyer is pushing for serious playing time for the one of the best teams in the NFL.

Also, can't wait to watch Troy Anderson over this

No, just a text a friend sent me. I posted it here like it was true. I don't follow the NFL. At all.
