Oh OK. Yeah if one of these 5* freshman DBs steps in as a quality starter from day 1 and we can add one or two more from the portal we are set up really well. DeBoer would have to be way out of his depth to frick up a roster as strong as what he inherited, and so far I've seen nothing to suggest he is. I mean fricking Les Miles won a title with the program he inherited from Saban before he ran it into the ground and I just can't imagine DeBoer being another Les. He certainly does not seem like a man who eats grass and becomes aroused at the thought of a fullback lead blocking for a 4 yard gain. Recruiting is going to be fine.

Exactly. As much as I hated to see Saban retire, he left the program in very good shape. Auburn is also not completely rebuilt under Freeze which will make things easier for DeBoer.

This is the best season possible to have freshmen play because the playbook, terminology, etc., it's all changing dramatically.

Everyone is a freshman this year. Knowing the calls, and the terminology, and positions it's what probably keeps some older less talented guys on the field.

If there was ever a time to play young players this is it, learn the system, terminology, etc. and put the best player on the field.

Also, if physically developed enough Corner is one of the easier positions to play early. Maybe an older guy like Domani moves to safety and put the young pups at corner, and Moore at star or "husky" I think Wommack calls it ?
