The top 2 are high school players ranked higher than Bryce Young, QB at Alabama! Unreal.

Notice the big NIL money in the Los Angeles area....an advantage that USC & UCLA will try to mine in this new era of money in college sports.

#1 -- Bronny James, a high school basketball player at Sierra Canyon H.S. in Los Angeles, son of pro player, LeBron James......$6.4 million so far.

#2 -- Arch Manning, H.S. QB.....$3.4 million so far.

#3 -- Bryce Young, QB at Alabama.....$3.1 million so far.

#4 -- Mikey Williams, H.S. basketball player at San Ysidro H.S. in San Diego, California.....$2.7 million so far.

#5 -- CJ Stroud, QB at Ohio State....$2.4 million so far.

The rest of the top 10..........

#6 -- Shareef O'Neal, H.S. basketball player at Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California, son of former pro Shaquille O'Neal......$2.4 million

#7 -- Caleb Williams, QB at USC.....$2.4 million

#8 -- Spencer Rattler, QB at South Carolina.....$2.0 million

#9 -- Quinn Ewers, QB at Texas......$1.5 million

#10 -- Hansel Emmanuel, basketball player at Northwestern State Univ.......$1.5 million

How is Arch Manning getting NIL money if he hasn’t signed?

Have they actually received that money, or have they signed deals worth "up to" that money?

Because the schools don’t provide NIL deals. Infact the schools are not supposed to be involved in NIL. That’s where Jimbo screwed up, using NIL as a direct inducement to go to that school.

Because he has a name, image, and a likeness that his connected family is free to help market.

Where does it say a kid needs to already be signed? You just can’t recruit with it. Some sports equipment company can start writing checks to Arch if they don’t give a shite if he decides to renege of his UT commitment.

Ah, now wonder A&M alumni were so ahead of the curve last year. They jumped on NIL faster than everyone else.

It's got nothing to do with LA. LeBron's kid has name recognition from his father and the Manning name has the same recognition no matter where he goes....these kids would not command that money with different last names...

And they won't when they get older because they aren't near as good as their famous family members.

It won't take long for these companies to realize there is next to no ROI on these kids. I'm not buying a GD thing bc Bryce Young or Shareef O'Neal or Master Ps kid told me to.

Yep pretty damn stupid when the top 2 are only benefitting from a last name. Bronny isnt even a top 20 player lol. Bryce got initial deals, backed it up with his play and is now benefitting even more. That was purpose of NIL
