High praise from the GOAT NFL Coach, Belichick about Mac Jones:

quote:

"He's made tremendous strides," Belichick said Tuesday morning, the day before the Patriots' first official practice of training camp.

"He did a great job last year, but he's starting from a much, much higher point this year from where he started last year. His offseason work has been significant, and I think everyone recognizes how well he prepares and how much further along he was than a year ago."

Mac Jones along with Burrow will have a great NFL career. Wouldn't be surprised to see these guys with multiple SB rings and a spot in Canton.

Jones will be a great game manager throughout his career.

Burrow will be one too. I don't see why that's a knock on any QB

Mac's gonna play a long time in the NFL. Doesn't matter who you are, starting for Bill is no easy task. Ask Cam, Jimmy G and hell, Brady. He didn't see the field until Bledsoe almost died.

Jones couldn't hold Burrow's jock strap

They say he has toned up and now has more zip on the ball. The interesting thing is that CBB does not plan on naming an OC. I believe he is trying to keep it secret who is calling the plays. So nobody will be able to watch film and find tendencies. Some in Boston think Jones will be calling plays after he sees the defense lined up. Some are saying CBB wants to call them from the sideline, himself.

Maybe he'll average >7 yards per attempt this season.

Who knows. Since both are young and were two of the most accurate qb's coming out of college and now play in the AFC. Well, maybe they are destined to battle each other for a decade.

I'm shocked that an NFL HC is speaking positively about his starting QB in the preseason.

By going to the playoffs with a rookie QB? Hot take, NFLSU.

I figure we'll get to see a few of those battles. Two good QBs on two good teams. I look forward to it.

To me the funny thing is that he is wearing his shirt. I don't think he will ever knowingly take a pic with his shirt off again after that one went viral.
