Atalanta airport is a shithole and has the most delays in the nation.
Ive never been to Atalanta Airport. Sounds like you dont know how to book a flight.
Hartsfield Jackson is easy to use for a major airport. Flights to and from everywhere.
I brought up the airport in reply to the comment that Atlanta is difficult to get to.
It is 2022. Atlanta may be the easiest city to get to (busiest airport in the world).

When choosing a southern city you soon realize there is not much to choose from so Atlanta probably wins by default.

The two largest airlines are American then Delta.
American is based through Fort Worth and Dallas. Delta is based through Atlanta. Southwest is a distant third as far as flights nationwide.
So, logistically speaking it’s probably either Dallas or Atlanta just from an ease of flights perspective.
When you then factor in the fact that Atlanta is central to many schools it’s really not a close contest.

The airport and interstate junction of 75 and 20. Other than that there is nothing in Atlanta worth fooling with.
65 and 40 run through Nashville and they boost an international airport, a south west hub vs a delta hub.
When the dome is built most stuff should move to the cleaner, safer, nicer Nashville.

This. Exactly this. I get that some people would like to rotate. I understand. But people (not you, obviously) shouldn't argue for change from Atlanta based upon location to SEC schools.

Nashville has 585 daily flights. Atlanta has 2,500. That says volumes. Don't get me wrong, 585 is impressive and sounds like a lot, but the ease of getting open flights to and from Nashville pales in comparison to Atlanta.

Atlanta: 5,400 per 100,000 Atlanta Crime Analytics
Nashville: 5,124 per 100,000 Nashville crime statistics
That said, I have heard Nashville is a very nice city.
