Development. Picking the "right" blue chippers. Team culture. Practicing ones vs ones. There's a lot more to it than bringing in a bunch of high starred recruits and then thinking you're done. Talent is important but it's only the beginning. Looking forward to seeing what TAM does this year with all those stars.

I don't think he's talking about why Texas or Texas A&M isn't as successful as UA, LSU, or UGA. I think he's suggesting the elite high school players in Alabama, Lousisiana, and Georgia are more prepared than those from Texas

I would think 2023 or 2024 would give a better idea. They'll still be developing size, strength and technique this coming season.
