You added Level 2 teams as potential teams in the SEC. Miami is huge no. Some teams on Level 2 aren't level 2!

Notre Dame
Clemson
North Carolina
Virginia
No remaining big 12 team brings value. We learned our lesson with Missouri.

Virginia and NCarolina do not fit from a cultural standpoint in the SEC. Those institutions are basically Vandy lites in their thinking and University student body mindset.
Virginia basically sucks at everything, too, except slow-paced shitty-to-watch basketball.
I'd rather have NC State in the league over NCarolina or Virginia.

Level 2, Top 24
I would add the Mountaineers from West Virginia.

SEC needs to target in pairs. Either FSU or Miami, not both since Florida is already in. If you let Virginia and UNC, you need Virginia Tech and NC state. They need to start with FSU and Clemson, then pick off the rest if it’s needed.

UNC will not go anywhere without Duke and vice-versa. They'll go as a package much like USC-UCLA.

If we are trying to expand the footprint to get more tv viewers, then some combo of Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, UVA, UNC, and Virginia Tech need to be considered.
But the truth is, with each expansion, my interest in college football wanes.

Nobody gives a shite about cultural. You think Mizzou and Ok culturally fit?
It's all about money.
UVA and UNc have beautiful campuses if you actually ventured out and traveled.
Both also have pretty damn good baseball teams outside of basketball.

If the SEC goes after WAKE, it will get vetoed by aggy. They’re still too scared.

I keep seeing FSU mentioned. Serious question..........what exactly do they bring to the conf.?
(they had their chance. let them rot in irrelevant conf. hell)

You are actually saying that they are schools that consider academic excellence over athletics.

Penn State (2.55M)
Florida (2.46M)
Wisconsin (2.27M)
Texas (2.269M)

I didn’t include Notre Dame as they have made it clear if they join a conference it will be big ten. Virginia is in top tier because they allegedly had a offer with UNC long ago, for expansion of the footprint etc.
Maybe someone can find top basketball TV draws cause let’s be honest, it’s all about money and almost all the money is in TV deals
