Rumored to leave the PAC for the Big 10 as soon as 2024.
4 super conferences of 20 teams is what I see. 9 conference games schedule. Play all in you division and then both winners meet in a championship for what will be known as the first round of playoffs for 8 teams.
Next for the SEC a flyer to Clemson… maybe FSU… NC state and North Carolina.

Max Howell, who I and many people thought was kind of a buffoon, called this 4 super conference alignment 15+ years ago. My apologies to Max. He was right all along.

Going to be funny if Boise st joins pac 12 as that was one reason Harsin left

Going to be strange. Big 12 is done. PAC 12-2 is weakened.
What will the Rose Bowl do?

I heard the Rose Bowl is pissed, I wonder if they will drop the Big10 vs Pac12 matchups on non-playoff years to get better match ups.

I think we are actually gonna see a drop in number of bowls. Unless you are in the playoff not many fan bases are gonna travel to finish 20th or whatever. Any of you guys gonna go watch 8-4 play a 9-3 TCU in the Cotton bowl?
Espn is bleeding money so the big TV bids for smaller bowls will go down. What city has the funds to make it worth while. Hell players don’t even play in them now

The regional, traditional collegiate football I fell in love with is fading fast. I wonder how much we'll care about this sport in 5 years? 10 years? I think I'll still care but I am honestly not sure.

While I'm off for the holidays I'll watch on TV, I'm not gonna drive somewhere for anything meh.
