A losing record in conference play and one game away from being able to call themselves the best team in college baseball.

Lame. Good for them, though. Nice job turning it on when it counts, Rebs.

Couldn’t win their division, sounds familiar.

We shouldn’t play any tournaments, championships, etc.

Don’t want to upset your idea of how champions are crowned.

Rebs did have a winning record against SEC teams this year, though. 3-1 in Omaha and beat State at a neutral site game in Jackson. 18-17 against the SEC is all you need to be the best ??

This is precisely the point I make about how terrible the NCAAT is for deciding a champ in basketball whenever a Kentucky basketball v Alabama football comparison is made, yet here we are.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If the same parameters football used over the decades were applied to basketball, Kentucky would have upwards of 30 national titles.
