Henry is one of 8 RBs/players all time to have a 2K yard season in the NFL. Ue also broke Walker's record on less carries. Any list without him is the opposite of recency-bias. It's Bo/Walker/Henry for the 3 best.

To not include Darren McFadden, Najee Harris, Kevin Faulk and Derrick Henry in the discussion is a bit off. There are so many great running backs in this league's history it can lead to some creative discussions.
For example, in the case of a guy like McFadden, he did not have the same overall cast on the offense that a lot of other guys had. He was certainly front and center and pulled them to the 2006 SEC West championship.

Kevin Faulk. Seriously it is hard to say, but Bo, Henry and Walker would be in the mix.

Imagine this...you are a former NFL player who was a:
3-time Super Bowl Champion
Pro Bowl Selection
and on the NFL All-Rookie Team
yet, when people look for a highlight from your senior season of college...this is what always comes up first:
That's what a Freshman Herschel Walker did in his debut against Bill Bates.

My main problem with this debate is its to the point where I believe people aren't thinking objectively the first answers they say are Bo or Walker just because that's what was said by pundit to pundit for years and years to the point where people are thinking it's gospel.
If people actually believe one of those guys were the best then that's fine but I have a problem with guys just going around spouting the opinion of some guy off ESPN and thinking that it's fact. There were plenty of great SEC RBs who can be included in this conversation but guys are just going off of what they heard instead of thinking objectively.

Errick Miron Dope head joke. NOT SEC.
Adrian Peterson Great back. Not SEC.
Bo Jackson. Arguably the best not only for the SEC, but all time.

Best Running Back in SEC History?
After carefully reviewing pages of discussion on this topic, I've concluded that Earl Campbell is the greatest running back in the history of the new beefed up SEC.
In the old regional SEC, I'll give the nod to Herschel Walker over Bo Jackson.

Cecil Collins was one of the most talented running backs in history. Too bad he was retarded.

OP trying to troll the "real SEC" by naming mostly "fringe SEC" players. Instead, starts a 30 something debate over Derrick Henry.

He's top-5 but Nick Chubb was a beast. If he hadn't shredded his knee on that abortion of a field in Knoxville, he would of broken Herschel's all time rushing yards. He ended up 600 short.
Great kid to boot.

All three are elite. So fun to have watched each play college ball.
