It should be a law that every mascot must be unique or related to the area it represents. Generic names that have no ties to the area are dumb and unoriginal.

If you are the parent of a white son its important that you sit them down and have "the talk". Teach them that they will always be portrayed as the bad guy. That they will passed over for jobs and promotions that will go to less qualified people simply because of the color of their skin. That whatever they produce in life will have to be 100% on their own without the benefit of any of the leg ups that others will receive.
