Has Texas A&M played Tennessee

This season? This weekend could get interesting. A&M can hit the heck out of the ball. Since my coach and team decided they wanted to go home and enjoy the holiday weekend I have to watch other teams.

TAMU is the best team in the SEC. I have them winning the tournament and the natty.

I think they should be aligned to meet in the Supers. Winner goes to Omaha. What say you?

That would be great but.. good pitching usually beats good hitting.

If we meet in the finals UT will have a huge advantage. We barely enough enough pitching to get through a 3 game weekend series. UT will roll out one of their 4 aces.
We’ve burned Dettmer, Dallas, Moo, Palish, Cortez, Johnston. I don’t think Schloss is interested in running them back out before regionals. That leaves Preager, Hogan, & Rudis for today. No one for tomorrow if we get there.
I feel like this team is built to win 2/3 over a weekend, not for tournament play.
Edit: Moo only threw 25 pitches on Thursday so he should be able to come back.

Now that they rank all 16 1 seeds, this ain’t happening. UT will be 1. A&M sure isn’t going to be 16. Most have A&M top 8 at this point.

Do you know any sport when it comes to competing against other teams it’s the matchups. Some teams match up well against others and not so well against others. Tennessee looks like a team that can win it all this year but there could be one team in the country that matches up well with them and beat them. Probably not but possibly.

Yep. The Ags would need Rudis or Prager to step up with 5 solid innings in order to matchup pitching wise

Yes, if A&M gets to the final we will have to see who can throw. I think we will be forced to dig deeper into the bench than we have all year long. Maybe we can borrow a pitcher or two from another team?

I think aTm and UT are both going to Omaha. aTm will get higher than a 16 seed, so then meeting in the supers will not happen.

UT has been lights out all year. The Ags def played way above the level we had thought they would this year but our pitching is too shallow and concerning. We have had great hitting teams in the past but ran into the teams with deep pockets when it comes to Ace’s in the tournament. We will see how it goes but without deep pitching it is a gamble for us past our base pitchers.

If A&M can get out of Regionals I like our chances in a best 2/3 format for Supers
