I saw Kendall Rogers tweet something about Globe Life making a possible run at hosting future SEC baseball tournaments in Arlington.

That doesn't make much sense geographically.

If they rotate, maybe.

If not, maybe Memphis but as much as I hate the Gumps, Hoover makes some sense geographically.

You are correct. Hoover is pretty centralized. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. This is a conference tournament for college baseball. Not a huge money grab if we’re being honest here.

Rotating the football conference title game might make sense money wise. Wouldn’t be opposed to ATL, Nola, Houston and Arlington rotating. Of course if the SEC moves to top two winning % play for the championship. Not east vs west.

Several decades ago Memphis could have been the central Mecca of the US. Instead Northwest disbanded, Delta pulled out after a quickie, and the factories that the Memphis infrastructure was built around were abandoned.

What could have been for not just SEC baseball but Memphis as a whole. The airport hub that is ATL, that was suppose to be Memphis.
