Is Arkansas a baseball program? They’ve been good lately but not exactly a blue blood. Fairly similar overall success history as us, which is solid if underwhelming.

I’d say we are more of a basketball school.
But let’s not act like Aggies and Hogs have we have similar overall success.
No we aren’t in anyway a blue blood. We are the new FSU. Been a top 15 program the last 20 years but can’t win one.
We have 10 CWS appearances to your 6. We have been to Omaha 6 times to your two since 2004 and have two runner up finishes to your zero.
TN has been to Omaha a whole 5 times and is 0-4 their last two appearances.
I said it in another thread we aren’t good this year and the SEC is way way down.
The last 15 years it’s been Vandy, Florida, LSU, Arkansas, OM and State that were always good.
Everyone of those programs are bad this year

Bingo on us in regard to baseball’s relative importance. Are we die hard about all big 3 sports because we have no competitive market in our state or for our fan base? Yes. Doesn’t mean that we espouse to be anything more than a currently good and potential elite program in baseball (not a blue blood). Tennessee has earned that right as well. But they are by no means any more than us or A&M in terms of CWS baseball as of late.

Back to back Elite 8s (one more than TN has all time)
Preseason top 5 next year.
I guess I’d laugh as well if my team has one elite 8 all time (nothing more) and 0-4 in their last two and only two appearances in Omaha this decade
