Life is good. We are enjoying baseball season. It's NBA draft time. Jimbo and Saban are being bitches and dominating the media.
Then like clockwork, a pathetic Al.com article is written by our own Auburn beat writer.
The article? It's titled
I'm not linking it. But it is laughably bad that this is dropped today.

And tbh I think it’s a way to deflect the drama and screw up Saban put out there.
If Saban and Alabama is going to look bad in the media got to make sure Auburn is reported negatively too.

Unlike 247 or On3, AL dot com best writers have no vested interest in anything other than views. They don’t have a subscriber base to worry about so they have no true loyalty to write anything other than what gets the most clicks and thus the most revenue.
They’d actually be doing themselves a disservice by putting an AU grad or anyone that has any sort of favor toward AU to cover AU.

Anyway, the article just covers Jimmy Rane’s comments at a charity event that he made last night in Montgomery. It’s not investigative journalism or anything. Rane’s comments were super vanilla as well

Most of our fanbase has been done with media since the Cam saga. So I don’t blame anyone for being skeptical 
Especially those of us that were on message boards like this one during those times
In this case, though, it’s a pretty boring Friday article about Rane’s comments from last night. In OP’s defense, the title insinuates an actual report.

Our beat writers are negative. I never read their crap. Article should have been about how Harsin isn’t like Saban and Jimbo. Wtf pile on freaking Sabans dumbass

Ha. I forgot about the Hat whiner.
After I reread his article you’re right he made an article basici ally out of 2 Rane comments the Green had to find old stuff to meet his character total for the article.

Harsin tweeted something about golfing with Yellafella recently. Maybe there is a new relationship there and Green was around to report on the story
I didn’t read the Al.com article but the Montgomery Advertiser article wasn’t much negative about it.

Because Alabama newspapers are trying to sell newspapers and get clicks in a State that 70% of the citizens are actively rooting to Auburn to lose every game.
