Great campus atmosphere, Dickson Street, beautiful city, respectable athletics history, and now….

My new all-time favorite BBQ sauce, available in Oklahoma!

I’m ashamed to say but I’ve never tried it. I may be going up Wednesday if so I will try to snag me some.

I’ve not had the food but their bottled sauce is available at supermarkets, and the flavors are smoky, savory, sweet. I can taste the spices and the apple cider vinegar really takes it to another level.

First downvote I've ever given you in 12 years. But I'll bookmark this thread and lobby the cluckster to remove the blemish following your report on Wednesday.

The brisket I had at Wrights restaurant is the best i've ever had.

I always keep their BBQ on deck.

I’d say Ouachita mountains in general > Ozarks but it’s close

Lake Ouachita is fine and dandy, but it doesn’t crack the top 10 of best things in Arkansas.

Maybe the best "Texas style," but not the best in the state.

The Ouachitas are real mountains, whereas the Ozarks are an eroded plateau. (like the grand canyon or Texas Hill country) Ouachitas are a lot of pine, the further south you go, whereas the Ozarks are almost entirely Oak/Hickory hardwood forests.

The Ozarks are karst and have clear streams and cleaner lakes, and more interesting rock formations in general. I like the Ozarks better, but there are some really beautiful areas in the Ouachitas.

Go out into the Ozarks, and unless you've just had a big rain, every little creek and river is clear to nearly clear water. The limestone filters out all the pollutants and there are springs everywhere. Thus all the cities in the Ozarks with "Springs" in the name (Eureka Springs, Siloam Springs, Cave Springs, Elm Springs, Springdale, Spring Valley, Mammoth Spring, etc)
