“UT is headed to Starkville last series of the year. I doubt they are scared of a team that’s struggling to get to Hoover. Will Starkville even have a crowd by then?”
Even if we draw half the normal crowd that will still be almost double your normal crowd.
Yes, you should wax us this year but even when we are just average, we can be a dangerous team.
So we will see what happens.

I went to Knoxville in 2008 when the Gators beat UT 30-6. My friend had a stuffed dog (smokey) on a stick, which was stupid. After the game a friendly UT fan started getting in his face. My friend told him to back off several times and that he didn’t want to hurt him but he wouldn’t stop. The guy finally started to punch so my friend landed a left hook to his right jaw. He probably is still having trouble with his jaw as the left hook came from an amateur light/heavyweight.

Tennessee really is a great state, it's just encumbered by poorly-bred and ill-mannered Vol fans
And to be clear, I'd forgive and tolerate them for things they don't control - like relatively lower success and intelligence as compared to the rest of the conference - but it's hard to do ignore when they're also being obnoxious.

This is a family from Tennessee, that are Tennessee Vol fans, but their son plays for Auburn so they are supporting him.

Surprise surprise.
I've said on here many time, when UT gets good they are the most insufferable bunch of pricks alive.
Had a waitress in Pigeon Forge tell me straight to my face all of us Bama fans were hellbound. True story. This is during the Casey Clausen days. Imagine the Peyton days.
When UT beat Alabama in 95 I thought they were going to burn down the southside. Literally. Never saw fans act that way. I lived in southside at the time but I got inside and let them have it down by the fountain.

Well, it is Tennessee. Not sure what was expected.

It’s as if the Tennessee Nation is so afraid of turning into a pumpkin that they feel necessary to at least achieve a “bad boy” status which leaves them with something. But that is weak confidence my man. The best confidence is inward and manifest itself in a quiet and honorable way. Beat your opponents like a drum, but congratulate them on their excellent performance afterward. Make friends, not enemy’s.

Yes, but was the food good?

Good luck friend. I actually do cheer for State anytime they don’t play UT. I have a couple friends that went to school at MSU and have numerous friends that are big State fans. Prior to the season some of my friends circled this series and planning on Al going together. Now the State fans aren’t to interested in the series anymore. And I do applaud the size of y’all’s field as there is not many like it. But UT played in front of 13,000+ when Ole Miss was #1 and UT swept them at home. So I don’t think the crowd size will matter much.

What’s more unbelievable is instead of owning it your coach tried to walk back his comments and apologize for it the week prior to coming back to Knoxville. He was so big of a bitch that he talked shite and didn’t think he would be back, and then when LSU found out they was coming to Knoxville all of sudden he wanted to apologize and tried to walk his comments back. At this point it was already to late has he had plenty of time to clarify what he said.

The incident against ole miss in the fall should have been enough for the sec to ban Tenn from having fans in attendance for any sporting event

Never got the chance to confront them. Once they saw me and a couple of other Dawgs coming out the door they jumped into their truck and ran like scared rabbits. They probably picked my vehicle as it had a UGA vanity plate and a Georgia Bulldog Club sticker.

I don’t think it was hot rods. I think there was a car on display and it was some type of Chevy and the restaurants name had something to do with that. It was between Knoxville and the Alcoa Hampton Inn ( not far from the Hampton Inn) and it was a several years ago. We haven’t set foot in that hellhole of a town since. I don’t care whether you believe me or not. It happened and we will not be going back

They are certainly terrible. Borderline dangerous

They have always been horrible but lately the UT fans seem to actually be getting dangerous.
