Anyone else see where LSU athletic dept said they were unprepared for the Garth Brooks crowd because:
“During football games, Worsham says, some fans leave at halftime or the third quarter, lessening traffic in the stadium’s concourses. This, of course, was not the case for the concert, where almost every fan stuck around to its multiple encore end.”

So they are so used to LSU fans bolting that they didn’t have enough food for people to stay the full time.

These stadiums are old when they were built they did not foresee 100k in the narrow concourses.

A lot of concession stands ran out of beer before the concert started. Cars were still trying to get out of parking lots 2 hours after the show ended. Half the gates to enter the stadium were open. Pretty weak excuse from LSU.

Basically LSU half-assed in every way one of the biggest ticketed concerts in US history, but Garth Brooks was way more energetic than I’ve ever seen him and put on an awesome concert

To be fair, it normally takes 2 hours to get out of parking because the police have no fricking clue what the hell they are doing.

Been to both stadiums in Little Rock and Fayetteville. The stadium in Little Rock is small and in a bad part of town. The one in Fayetteville has a lot of its east side concourse made of tin. Also, the parking in Fayetteville is shitty bc of the high school and other athletic fields close to the stadium. I walked easily 3/4 of a mile to the stadium.

Tiger* Stadium is repeatedly voted on as one of the greatest sporting venues. Pig Stadium is irrelevant.

Both are facts.

There are about 20 lots with shuttles if you have to complain about walking less than a mile.

Also, stop being fat.

Tiger Stadium is constantly on lists of must places to go watch a game. People barely know Arkansas even has a stadium.

If your biggest complaint about a stadium is having to walk less than a mile then that isn't a bad stadium at all.
